The son of the Crown Princess of Norway, Marius Borg Hoiby, in addition to accusations of raping 4 women, is also facing new charges.

Hoiby, who is set to stand trial in February, has been charged with other crimes, including a felony drug offense, local prosecutors announced Monday, stemming from a 2020 incident involving 3.5 kilograms of marijuana.

Prosecutor Sturla Henriksbo said in a statement that an additional indictment had been issued against the 29-year-old, totaling six charges.

Hoiby, the son of Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit from another relationship before she married Crown Prince Haakon, was charged on August 18 with four counts of rape and 28 other crimes, including acts of violence against ex-girlfriends. /CNA
