President Trump has called for former Vice President Kamala Harris to be prosecuted, along with singer Beyoncé, talk show host Oprah Winfrey and activist Al Sharpton, for royalties paid to stars during the 2024 election campaign.

Trump said the stars were paid millions of dollars by Harris' campaign for their appearances and that the money constituted illegal payments to support Harris's failed presidential candidacy.

The American president said that all these names who received money during the campaign have done nothing. He continued that it is illegal to pay money to receive support.

“ Look at the huge amount of money the Democrats are owed, after the presidential election, and the fact that they admit to paying, possibly illegally, eleven million dollars to singer Beyoncé for an endorsement (she never sang, not a note, and left the stage to an angry, booing audience!), three million dollars in “expenses” to Oprah, six hundred thousand dollars to the very low-rated TV “host” Al Sharpton (a total weak figure!), and others whose names need to be mentioned, have done absolutely nothing! These ridiculous fees were incorrectly declared in the books and records. You are not allowed to pay for an endorsement. It is completely illegal to do so. Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying people to endorse them? All hell would break loose! Kamala and everyone else who took money for Endorsements broke the law. They should all be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention to this matter ,” Trump writes on Truth Social.

During the 2024 cycle, Harris' campaign was criticized for $165,000 in payments from Beyonce's production company, Parkwood Entertainment, for a rally in Houston on October 26.

Winfrey's production company, Harpo Productions, was paid $1 million for a livestream event she helped organize in Michigan.

Harris' team also sent $500,000 to Sharpton's National Action Network./ CNA
