Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz is facing an uphill battle for re-election to the US Senate. Democrats have so far raised $100 million for the campaign against him.

Cruz in an interview on "Focus" by Robert Pope on CNA talked about his book "Awakening, How to Fight Cultural Marxism in America". 

He says that the colleges were the place where the Marx virus started, and from there it continues until it goes to science.

"Colleges, where the Marx virus starts. From universities, he goes to gymnasiums, he goes to journalism, to the government, to business. Then to entertainment, movies, television, music, sports. Then it goes to science. The last chapter of the book goes to China. China is connected to all of these. The book has two reasons, the first explains why the Marxist radical left infiltrated all these institutions from within them, and the second, it lays out a plan of action. A battle plan to win back these institutions. As for China, the Democrats saw the dollars there. China, they are mired in murder, torture and genocide. They have concentration camps with 1 million Uighurs. Intellectual property is stolen," he said./ CNA
