Lumir Abdixhiku is re-elected chairman of the LDK

Lumir Abdixhiku has been re-elected chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo.

In the 10th Electoral Assembly, Abdixhik secured the leadership of the oldest party in the country for another four years.

The 333 delegates of the LDK present voted unanimously for Abijhiku to lead the party again.

After being re-elected as party chairman, Abdixhiku said that he will exercise this duty with a Rugovist attitude.

"Thank you all for this extraordinary honor and responsibility you gave me today. I now have a speech prepared at the grand convention that will be held starting at 5:00 p.m. and I will spare you that time now. I will exercise this duty and this responsibility with Rugovist behavior in faith in LDK, in faith in our membership" - he added.

Abdixhik was the only candidate for LDK chairman, as Faton Bisli's candidacy was not approved./ CNA
