The Ministry of Education in Kosovo has reacted after the brutal beating of a three-year-old child in a nursery school in Fushë Kosovë.

Minister Arbërije Nagavci has strongly condemned this act of violence and casts doubt that not only but some educators of this nursery school are involved in violence against children.

She emphasizes that immediate measures will be taken.

" Deeply disturbed by the published footage of a nursery in Fushë Kosovë. I strongly condemn the violence perpetrated against a child in this preschool institution.

Violence is unacceptable therefore, I expect that whoever perpetrates violence will receive the deserved punishment.

What is more disturbing according to the published images, is that it is not just about one person but more educators involved, which increases the doubt that it is not an isolated phenomenon.

The Education Inspectorate is located in this institution and as soon as we receive the report, we will take immediate action.

MESTI, municipalities and in general as institutions have an obligation to take care and ensure the well-being of all children", the announcement states./ CNA
