Kidnapping of Kosovar policemen/ Albin Kurti: Revenge of Serbia

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has reacted to the kidnapping of 3 Kosovo police officers.

Kurti says that the kidnapping of the officers by the Serbian forces could be a revenge for the arrest of the head of the "Civil Defense" group, Millun Millenkovic Llune.

Through a post on social networks, Kurti states that the entry of Serbian forces into the territory of Kosovo is aggression and aims at destabilization.

"Three Kosovo police officials were kidnapped today in Leposavic, in the place where there used to be an illegal smuggling route, which is located about 300 meters inside the territory of our state.

We suspect that they were kidnapped by the Serbian army, clearly as a revenge of Serbia for yesterday's arrest of the notorious criminal Millun Millenkovic - Lune, who represents one of the leaders of organized crime and smuggling.

The Kosovo Police have shown themselves to be very restrained in recent weeks.

The entry of Serbian forces into the territory of Kosovo is aggression and an aim for escalation and destabilization.

We demand the immediate release of the three abducted police officials and invite international factors to condemn this act of aggression by Serbia", emphasizes the Prime Minister of Kosovo./ CNA.al
