Silvio Berlusconi's farewell is given today/ Thousands of citizens attend the funeral ceremony

The city of Milan is preparing to say goodbye to former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.

The funeral ceremony will be held today at 15:00 in the Duomo and will be celebrated by the archbishop of the city, Mario Delpini.

The security measures put in place for this occasion are extraordinary given that the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, at least 32 government officials will arrive in the city from Linate, as well as heads of state from other states.

Further, in "Piazza Duomo", which will be surrounded from 10 o'clock this morning and will be guarded by law enforcement like the entire area, thousands of citizens are expected who will be able to participate in the funeral ceremony.
