The French government faces a motion of no confidence

The French government will face two no-confidence motions on March 20, at a time when institutions are facing criticism over controversial pension reform.

France's Prime Minister, Elisabeth Borne, has used Article 49.3 of the Constitution to push the bill forward, without the need for a vote.

Since this event happened last week, thousands of people have protested in France.

Motions of no confidence have been raised by the deputies of the center and the extreme right, the National Assembly. The parliamentary debate will be held later on Monday.
