Putin visited Mariupol/Kiev reacts: The killer always returns to the scene of the crime

The Ukrainian authorities of Mariupol denounced the visit of the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, whom they described as an "international criminal", the latter according to them has returned to the crime scene just like the murderers.

"Criminals always return to the scene of their crimes... The killer of thousands of Mariupol families came to admire the ruins of the city and its graves. Cynicism and lack of remorse," President Zelensky's adviser Mihailo Podoliak wrote on Twitter./CNA

For its part, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that Putin visited the destroyed Mariupol at night "like a thief".

"Like a thief, Putin visited the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, sheltering behind the night. First, it is safer. And also, the night allows him to emphasize what he wants to show and keep the city that his army has completely destroyed and its few surviving inhabitants safe behind closed doors," the ministry said on Twitter.
