The joint meeting in Ohrid / Kurti and Vucic facing each other  

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, started the joint meeting, with the mediation of European officials, in Ohrid, North Macedonia.

Previously, they met separately the head of EU foreign policy, Josep Borrell, and the EU envoy for Kosovo-Serbia talks, Miroslav Lajcak.

On the agenda are the discussions on the implementation of the EU proposal for the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, are discussing in Ohrid the implementation of a European Union proposal for the normalization of relations.

This proposal does not envisage mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia, but acceptance of each other's state documents and symbols.

Kurti said earlier that he is optimistic about today's meeting, but that not everything depends on him.

Vucic has said that he does not plan to sign anything in Ohrid.

Political analysts say that if Kosovo and Serbia do not sign the annex implementing the proposal, they will not be able to take any steps towards the normalization of relations./ CNA.al
