Floods from the storm in Greece/ The number of victims deepens

In Greece, the number of victims has deepened due to floods from storm Daniel.

" eKathimerini " reports that an elderly man was found dead in the area of ??Ellinopirgo, in Karditsa, Thessaly.

The 82-year-old was found without signs of life under a car. He was caught in the torrential rain after leaving his house. 

Thus, the number of victims of the storm has increased to 3.

Earlier, the body of an elderly woman was found near the coast in the southern area of ??Pelion, near the port city of Volos in the Pagasetic Gulf.

The first victim was a man who died on Tuesday after being crushed by a collapsed wall.

Thessaly in central Greece has suffered severe flooding in the past 48 hours, according to the Meteorological Service of the National Observatory of Athens, Meteo.  

Since Monday, Storm Daniel has caused landslides, destroyed a bridge and knocked down power poles. and took dozens of cars. Also, the raging water took dozens of cars with it.
