The representative of the European Union for the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajçak, said that the new round of dialogue with chief negotiators Petar Petkovic and Besnik Bislimi is focused on the implementation of the agreements reached and that the talks will continue.

"We discussed the further way of implementing the Agreement from February 27 and aimed to clarify open issues. Discussions will continue," Lajcak wrote on Twitter. After yesterday's meetings in Brussels, Petkovic and Bislimi announced that no progress had been made.

Petkovic said that the situation is difficult in terms of dialogue and that the behavior of Prishtina's chief negotiator, Besnik Bislimi, was "scandalous".

After the tripartite meeting with the chief negotiator of Pristina, Besnik Bislimi, with the mediation of the EU representative for dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, said that Belgrade has come to the meeting prepared, with experts and proposals, all the materials.

"Unlike Bislim, who came alone and since he had to discuss important issues, such as the formation of the ZSO, freedom of movement, issues related to life, Kurti's institutional violence," said Petkovic.

Before the tripartite meeting between Petkovic-Bislimi and Lajcak, the EU's special representative held separate meetings with the two negotiators.

It was the first meeting of the main negotiators after the meeting between Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, in Brussels on May 2. At that meeting, the Declaration on Missing Persons was approved and the Serbian Management Team presented the first draft of the statute of the Association of Serbian Municipalities.
