The air attack on the hospital in Gaza/Palestine announces 3 days of mourning

An airstrike in Gaza on the hospital where Palestinians were sheltered and treated caused more than 500 casualties.

After this attack, the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, announced three days of mourning for the victims.

In a statement issued by his office, the President also ordered flags to be flown at half-mast for the victims of "the Israeli aggression at al-Ahli Hospital and for all the people killed by the occupation."

Israel itself expresses uncertainty about the attack, as it says it does not know the cause of the "incident" and is investigating the details.

The director general of the World Health Organization also reacted to this event, strongly condemning the attack on the Arab Al Ahli hospital in Gaza.

"We call for the immediate protection of civilians and health care and to cancel the evacuation orders," he declared./ CNA
