Elon Musk in politics/ Role in the Trump administration

Elon Musk is one of the most influential and important brokers in President Trump's new administration.

Republican candidate Donald Trump aims to "make America great again" after his historic victory in the 2024 US presidential election.

As Trump returns to the White House as the 47th President of the United States, there is one man whose efforts cannot be overlooked in Trump's landslide victory. Tesla owner Elon Musk has openly supported Trump for President. He has been his biggest ally in the race to capture the highest political position in the US.

"We have a new star, a star is born; Elon." "He's a great guy. We were sitting together tonight. You know, he spent two weeks in Philadelphia, in different parts of Pennsylvania, campaigning," Trump said as he addressed a crowd in Florida.

Trump's admiration for Musk doesn't just end with his praise of his Space X projects, but rather extends to offering him leadership roles in his government. Trump has previously said he will create a government efficiency commission headed by Elon Musk.

"I will create a government efficiency commission tasked with conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government," Trump said. /CNA
