After the summit between the United States of America and the European Union, the participants issued a joint statement, where it is emphasized that Kosovo and Serbia urgently need to unconditionally implement the agreement reached in Brussels and Ohrid.

The statement emphasizes the need for Kosovo and Serbia to urgently de-escalate tensions. 

"We reaffirm our common commitment to stability in the Western Balkans and our support for the EU perspective of the region. All partners must continue to make the necessary reforms to progress on their European path. We emphasize the need for Kosovo and Serbia to urgently de-escalate tensions and implement the agreement quickly and unconditionally on the way to the normalization of their relations and return to the EU-facilitated dialogue," states the joint statement of the US Summit. - EU./ CNA
