Barrage of rockets and drones in Israel/ A 10-year-old girl injured

Iran launched more than 300 missiles and drones at Israel.

This revenge attack comes weeks after an Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate building in Syria killed two of Tehran's top commanders.

There were visible explosions in the air over Jerusalem, while air sirens went off across the country.

The US and Israeli military shot down the vast majority of the missiles and dozens of attack drones. Several missiles hit a military base in the south, causing minor damage.

A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured by a shell and about 31 people were treated for anxiety or injuries they received while going to a protected area when the sirens were heard.

Iran said that after the attack the case can be considered closed if there is no more violence./ CNA
