4 years after the devastating fire/ Notre Dame reopens, impressive images revealed

Four years after the devastating fire at the cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris, the restoration work has been completed, bringing out a special image of the building.

700 million euros were spent on the works at Notre Dame.

Before the fire was extinguished, the French authorities received a staggering 846 million euros in donations.

According to the Times, the historic monument is in its best condition without "150 years of dust" on the walls.

The reconstruction of the Cathedral was slowed down due to the pandemic. During the reconstruction, the project leaders noticed the extent of the dirt that covered its interior.

French Culture Minister Jean-Michel Guilment called it "impressive" to see a white statue again.

Project leader and military officer Jean-Louis Georgelin told The Times that when it opens "you will see it as you have never seen it before"./ CNA.al
