Italy's election was dominated by the center-right, making Giorgia Meloni the neighboring country's first female prime minister.

According to estimates, the alliance of the right-wing populist party Lega and the conservative party Forza Italia is expected to take more than half of the seats in Parliament.

The center-right has taken at least 114 seats in the senate. In other words, he received 12075309 votes, or 44.04% of the votes.

Specifically, Fratelli D'italia with Giorgia Meloni received 26% of the votes with 7083623 votes.

The electoral alliance of the social democrats under the former prime minister Enrico Leta with the left parties and the Greens appeared in the forecasts with about 25.5% of the votes.
