The Engert Pëllumbi decision set a standard

The decision of the Special Appeals Judge, Engert Pëllumbi, set a previously unknown standard , perhaps also due to the circumstances that came to light in the “Veliaj” case. Judge Pëllumbi made it clear to the political class that any attempt to denigrate, insult, blackmail, and threaten judges and prosecutors will translate into a real risk to obtaining evidence and will result in the suspects being held in prison.

Judge Pëllumbi did what neither the Supreme Court of Justice, nor the Supreme Court of Justice, nor any other actor in the Albanian Republic had done in all these years. The debate takes place only in the courtroom and any other deviation in public, especially by implementing strategies of attacks, blackmail, insults, etc., against figures of justice, will find only one answer and it is based on the law.

That decision should be read to understand what not to do when in detention conditions , especially in terms of using some of the media, whose only contribution was to rank the position of those who were paid to defend .
