Prime Minister Rama went viral on social media today because he traveled to Korça by helicopter.
Previously, the media wrote that the prime minister was going by helicopter to Korça due to the road collapse.
In fact, the prime minister immediately denied it, emphasizing that he was going to Korça with a group of investors, there were two helicopters that would depart from Tirana and then from Korça they would go to Vlora.
Even if the route were to go from Tirana with a group of investors to Korça, it would take at least three hours, and then to go to Vlora it would take at least five hours, which can be covered by helicopter in a very short time, 45 minutes.
Perhaps this is the moment for Prime Minister Rama to reflect on several road axes and the connection of the southeast and south of Albania, beyond the tourist areas.
The reactions have been strong, the video went viral, Rama landing in Korça by helicopter as if a storm had struck. In fact, it is not the only case where state officials use helicopters, all in a row.
We don't know yet whether Bajram Begaj used it, but Bamir Topi used it, Alfred Moisiu used it, all presidents used it.
Sali Berisha used it both as prime minister and as president.
Moreover, when he was prime minister from 2005 to 2013, since the infrastructure was more difficult then and movement was slower, Sali Berisha often moved by helicopter.
CNA is bringing footage taken from Albanian national television stations showing Sali Berisha going to Dibër and Kukës by helicopter due to bad weather.

This is logical, since what would Berisha use to go to the snow by helicopter? What would the prime minister use when he has emergencies, delegations, or investors to wait for?
This game as if Rama committed a crime by taking a helicopter is ridiculous.
With this article, we want to clarify that the problem is not the name of the prime minister, but the fact that the helicopter is for the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, adding the fact that everyone has used the helicopter on certain occasions.
It doesn't matter who has ridden the helicopter the most, Berisha, Rama or others, the helicopter is therefore to be used by the highest authorities of the state, the president, the prime minister, the ministers.
In other countries around the world, the president has his own helicopter, just like the prime minister, because it is a state.
But to make a fuss about what happened, that the prime minister travels by helicopter, as if it's a big theft, that he should have gone by car, and so on, these are disgusting political accusations.

It is not a luxury for the prime minister to travel by helicopter, it is something normal and perhaps Sali Berisha has made more flights than Edi Rama.
But when these theses are later taken and used as political arguments, "why did they get on the helicopter, why didn't they get on the helicopter", the Albanian Prime Minister will not go by donkey to Korça. And it is better to go faster by helicopter and return to work, or as he is doing, go to Korça, to Vlora, in distant distances.
Turning this issue of the Prime Minister's helicopter trip to Korça into a political controversy is simply political misery.
Before the opposition criticizes the prime minister for going by helicopter, it would be good if it took its deputies to the road, or it would be good if in so many months these opposition deputies in the Korça Region, in the Southeast, had gone out there and told us how the river is being destroyed, how the inert materials are being taken, how the road was in danger of collapsing. But they have not done their duty and they are not doing it today either.
Moreover, they do not deal with the problem and the plight of the blockade of the Southeast of the country, but rather deal with the fact that the Prime Minister traveled by helicopter. Vajmedet!/ CNA
