This Sunday, the drone was raised again in the Sharra landfill.

As has been denounced before, it is again noticed that in Sharre there is nothing but mountains of garbage.

The drone was raised by opposition councilors in the Municipality of Tirana, who denounced environmental crime.

They denounced how they filled the lake with soil and turned the 15 hectares without permission into mountains of garbage.

"The Tirana incinerator concessionaire is paid to provide a service, and how does he do this service? Going to the territory of the Municipality of Tirana, outside the restriction where he should do this work to go and deposit the garbage. Think for yourself, if any of you builds a building without a permit and what happens to it today. Tirana Municipality does this for 15 hectares", stated Ilir Alimehmeti.

Meanwhile, Endrit Braimllari made the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, directly responsible for the environmental crime.

"We are here in the crime zone, to show the citizens of Tirana the massacre that happened in the Municipality of Tirana. Here we are dealing with an unauthorized construction of 15 hectares, so it is clear that Erion Veliaj with the authority of the mayor has allowed this area to turn into a crime zone. There are 15 hectares, where endless soil was laid by order of Erion Veliaj. I call on the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, to come here to the relevant institutions of the central government, to come here to the institutions that protect the territory, to closely verify this massacre. Erion Veliaj is directly responsible for this massacre", Braimllari emphasized./ CNA
