"They are earthquake-proof houses", clashes with the builder over the

The "Stop" show on TV Klan in a neighborhood of Kashari, after Hyrjan Plaku reveals that his house was damaged by the 2019 earthquake.

He received 34 million lek from the state through the reconstruction program to build a new home. He signed a contract with the firm "Xhuvani Hasrama shpk", hoping to build a strong and safe home for his family.

But as soon as he moved into his new apartment, the walls began to crack from the outside and the inside. The floor also had problems. The tiles were poorly laid and in some places the concrete had come to the surface. Furthermore, some parts of the estimate, such as the veranda and its paving with tiles, had not been completed at all.

"The 2019 earthquake damaged the old house and we benefited from the reconstruction program. We benefited 34 million. I signed a contract with the firm "Xhuvani Hasrama shpk". After we took possession of the house, the house started cracking. There were very large cracks, visible to the naked eye. The tiles were laid unevenly and were not filled. We are living in fear. We are the sixth person in this house and I have no security," said the complainant.

Outraged, Hyrjani decided to report the case. He said that he had transferred 22 million lek through the bank, 8 million in cash and had kept only 4 million lek for himself, for family needs. But when confronted by the journalist, Amarildo Hasrama, the son of the owner of the construction company, admitted that there had been some damage, but justified it with earthquakes that occurred even after construction.

"We have helped him more, because we took some of it from him and he kept some of it himself. There were some cracks after these earthquakes that happened recently, but we told him that we would repair it, to help him, not because we have an obligation, because for the amount of money we have received, it has nothing to do with the money he received (from the grant). He kept it himself, I closed it because "come on, what a shame".

After he received the money, he didn't want to do it. He kept the money. He didn't put any money in his bank account, and even the money he did give, he gave it to me in person. His son-in-law brought me the money, he didn't bring it to me. Now, that's an earthquake house, even if it was with the money of the earthquake house (in total) with that much money, it's still not of good quality. If you don't give me the money, as a construction company, what will I do? It's safer than a plinth, a slab. I built it with slabs. We'll fix it, we'll fix it from the outside...", Amarildo said, implying that the quality of construction couldn't be higher than that./tvklan.al
