Wiretaps/ Erion Veliaj invents false witnesses

Another scene from the Durrës prison cell where Mayor Erion Veliaj is being held has emerged from wiretaps conducted by SPAK.

CNA recently published how Erion Veliaj is trying to create a media frenzy by claiming that a 2 million euro bounty has been demanded for his head and is seeking advice from Mero Baze, who was used by the mayor for false scenarios.

We are bringing you another fabricated lie from the mayor's cell in Durres prison, who claims to have witnesses who demanded 2 million euros for his imprisonment.

In fact, all three witnesses were summoned and questioned at SPAK and denied any knowledge, one of them now a candidate for deputy of the DP and the other two businessmen, perhaps one less wealthy than Mero Baze who has now turned into the second Koço Kokëdhima in southern Albania.

The three witnesses mentioned by the detainee Erion Veliaj with three serious criminal charges such as corruption, laundering the proceeds of crime and introducing and using prohibited items in prison, have strongly denied having any knowledge of the millions of euros or what the mayor of Tirana had spoken about from prison.

This clearly shows that Veliaj has invented false witnesses to cover up his lie, as such a thing was denied by them when they were summoned to SPAK.

In the wiretaps obtained by CNA, according to Veliaj, there are witnesses who say two million euros were demanded for his imprisonment.

He asks him to tell him to meet with Arbri because he (Erioni) needs advice.
