Murder of 18-year-old in Voskopoja, Austrian denies expertise with his own

The show "Stop" on Tv Klan has repeatedly covered the case of the deceased 18-year-old Antonio Karafili, who was found hanging in the Voskopoja forest. The tragic event occurred on June 14, 2018. The last person to see Antonio alive was his girlfriend, Kejsi Spaillari, 17 years old from Korça. The mother of the deceased, Mimoza Karafili, told in detail how she was informed by the boy's girlfriend about her son's death. She herself found him tied up and lifeless in a pine tree.

The issue of the suicide or murder of the young man Karafili was investigated and dragged out by many prosecutors. The last prosecutor ordered a third re-examination by the Institute of Forensic Medicine. Even after the field experiment, many facts from Forensic Medicine were again obscured, leaving what happened to the deceased young man as a suicide. The only solution to clarify this issue was to send the final expert report outside Albania, unaffected by Forensic Medicine in Albania.

The fourth prosecutor who investigated this case, Vasjana Postoli, sent the execution of an expert report to Austria. The procedure was delayed for 2 years and in 2024, the conclusions arrived in Korça. The result of the document of Prof. Dr. Christian Reiter on this event, based on the information sent by the Prosecution Body in Albania, is that 18-year-old Antonio Karafili committed suicide, as the presence of a third person is not proven.

But the parents of the late Antonio have suspicions that the information sent to the Austrian experts may have been intentionally truncated. In a conversation between the victim's sister-in-law and the Austrian expert, the latter states that he has no idea at all about this case from Albania.
