Athletics coach Gjergj Ruli has asked Prime Minister Edi Rama to bring back sports betting.
During the public hearing, he thanked Rama for his kind words but asked him not to become hypocrites and open sports betting.
Prime Minister Edi Ram congratulated Gjergj Ruli, remembering him during his time as a former mentor in Dinamo's gym. But today Rama said that the latter has done much more by mentioning Luiza Gegë's result.
"With 1 million Albanians around the world, we have it very easily. Let them open, don't deal with AKEP, we have the cell phone. This vice was born in the time of Rome, vices how can we stop. Let's not be hypocrites, I was also outside, I put some matches. Yes, the step of the earth has money for sports. Don't get tired of these open and close. Please respect the beautiful words, I think that we should always speak so simply, not to be hypocritical.'- said Gjergj Ruli./ CNA.al
