Spahia: The situation of the healthcare system in Albania is shown by what happens in Oncology

The Chairman of the Health Committee, Bardh Spahia, stated today that the situation in which the healthcare system in Albania is is shown by the images in the Oncology Department.

Spahia showed a photo published by journalist Osman Stafa, where he said that the way a patient receives service at the Oncology Department is scandalous. He further added that the pharmaceutical system in Albania has also been destroyed.

"How good the health system in Albania is is shown by the images in Oncology. The way a patient receives service in Oncology is scandalous. The pharmaceutical system has been destroyed, with the new drug law in 2014. There has been a complete destruction of the pharmaceutical market. The drug system in Albania must be regulated according to the standards and rules that every country in the European Union or every country that aims to become part of the EU has.
