Albania is burning in flames. For days, fires have been recorded in almost all regions of the country.

According to reports, homes have been burned, residents have been evacuated from villages, and large areas of land, forests, etc. have been burned.

The fire is also endangering natural heritage, while numerous firefighting forces are engaged in extinguishing the flames.

Firefighting operations are being carried out from the ground and air.

A day earlier, the first victim of fires in Albania was recorded, an 80-year-old man who had started a fire in the garden of his apartment and later lost his life after suffocating from the smoke.

The situation in Delvina is still extremely alarming, where houses are burning and the fire has reached large proportions.

Meanwhile, in this situation, there has also been criticism of the government.

Prime Minister Edi Ram has responded to critics of the lack of firefighting aircraft, while warning that those who intentionally set fires will be punished to the fullest extent.

On the other hand, the police have arrested several people who have set fires in certain areas and villages.
