The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, on Saturday, December 30, 2023, accepted the request of SPAK and decided to leave former Prime Minister Sali Berisha under "house arrest".

According to the decision revealed by the Special Court, Berisha must carry out his security measure in his apartment, from which he cannot leave.

After this decision of GJKKO, for several days, citizens and sympathizers of the Democratic Party gathered in front of Berisha's house where they held protests.

Based on this situation, CNA conducted a survey where citizens were asked: Do you support the protests at Berisha's house?

In total, 157 citizens voted and gave their opinion regarding this situation.

60 percent of the voters expressed their support for the protests at Berisha's house; 38 percent expressed against the development of protests at Berisha's house, while 2 percent of them chose the "I don't know" option.

Representatives of the Democratic Party have announced that the protests will continue. MP Flamur Noka, at the meeting of the Presidency of the DP held today, called for civil disobedience and the continuation of the opposition action./ CNA
