Solidarity for Eid al-Fitr/ 3.5 tons of food for families in need in Pogradec

On the eve of the Eid al-Fitr holiday, the city of Pogradec has begun distributing about 3.5 tons of food to families in need. The initiative was undertaken by the "Ebu Bekër" Mosque, as part of the sadaqa al-fitr, one of the religious obligations that aims to support the most vulnerable segments of society.

The distribution process began in the early hours of the morning, with the aim of ensuring that food aid reaches families' tables before the holiday. The packages contain basic food products, essential to meet minimum needs during this period.

According to the organizers, this is a direct contribution from believers, who through donations have made it possible to collect and distribute aid to families in economic difficulty.

The distribution of food packages is expected to be completed within today, covering the entire territory of the Pogradec district. This initiative comes as an annual tradition of the religious community, which on the eve of the holidays aims to alleviate the difficulties of families in need and convey the spirit of solidarity and sharing to dozens of families in the city!
