The hearing for the Meta-Kryemadhi file is postponed/Former MP: We are in a preliminary investigation

The hearing on the Meta-Kryemadhi file has been postponed to November 11, due to the absence of former MP Monika Kryemadhi's lawyer.

In her statement to the media, Kryemadhi said that the investigation continues even though the file has been closed. According to her, the goal is to keep Ilir Meta in prison.

"What happens in our justice system, as the lawyer told us, is that the investigation continues, so if the file should have been closed, the prosecutor continues to investigate, the investigation into Meta, Kryemadhi is not over but continues. We are in a preliminary investigation. The goal is to keep Meta in prison. Those who want to get him out are soldiers of Yuri Kim," said Kryemadhi.

Today's session was expected to decide whether the case would go to trial or not. Meta and Kryemadhi are accused of passive corruption, money laundering and failure to declare assets./ CNA
