Sadushi's budget is not enough/ "The state should invest"

The President of the Supreme Court, Sokol Sadushi, at the National Justice Conference called for more funds and investments in the justice system.

He described the situation as "alarming" and that magistrates are working under extraordinary pressure. Sadushi demanded immediate intervention from the Government and Parliament for more budget.

"Investments in security, infrastructure, human resources and technology are not political choices, they are a state obligation. The state cannot demand justice with European standards without investing," said Sadushi.

However, his speech focused more on the call for more budget than on concrete solutions that can be implemented within the Supreme Court.

He avoided discussing internal workload management, professional assessments, and support structures, focusing instead on the pressure on other institutions to fund the system's needs.

While judges are overworked, Sadushi's speech seems more like a financial appeal than a plan for improving justice./ CNA
