The teachers, as they had warned last week, started the protest again today.

They say that they will not back down from their demands, while the new academic year has started today.

The head of the union Sandër Kovaçi said that the boycott will continue until the demands are met.

"In every university in Albania, it is a matter of boycott. The presence is high", said the head of the Union Sandër Kovaçi.

But reports from district journalists talk about boycott only in Shkodër.

Kovaci was asked if the prime minister would be present today, as it is the first day of this academic year.

But, apparently, the prime minister went without much fanfare and according to Kova?, he went to test the situation.

"The situation was apparently tested. They apparently came to inaugurate a laboratory, but they left." he said. /CNA.al
