Opposition protest/ Here are the areas where traffic will be blocked this Friday

This Friday, the Democratic Party is holding its next protest, which, according to Tirana Police, will be held from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, in front of the Prime Minister's Office building.

In implementation of these measures, movement will be restricted on several road axes/segments today, specifically:

from 23:45 on 16.04.2026 until the end of the rally, traffic will be blocked and parking of vehicles will not be allowed on the "Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, from the place called "Ura e Dajtit" to "Ismail Qemali" street;

From 15:00 on 17.04.2026 until the end of the rally, there will be a traffic jam on the "Martyrs of the Nation" Boulevard, from the intersection near the Ministry of Interior to "Mother Teresa" Square, as well as on "Free Ukraine", "Papa John Paul II" and "Ismail Qemali" streets. /CNA
