The agreement between KESH and the energy giant Masdar is signed in Baku

At COP29, the agreement was signed between the Albanian Electricity Corporation (KESH) and the energy giant of the United Emirates, Masdar, for the creation of a joint public company that will invest in Albania and the region.

The government's number two, Belinda Balluku, after signing with Masdar, has declared that this company will invest in the entire Western Balkans area, but above all in Albania. 

"During the development of COP29 in Baku, in addition to all the panels where we have the great fortune to promote an Albania that produces 100% renewable energy, today we signed one of the most important cooperation agreements with the giant Masdar, the Emirati company which has been operating in the Balkans for a long time, but which has already established an inherent cooperation with the Albanian Electric Power Corporation, the creation of a joint company which will invest in the entire area of the Western Balkans, but above all in Albania", said the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku./ CNA
