The Siavi canal in the city of Vlora has been partially cleaned. The mouth of this channel continues to be blocked by debris.

This has created concern among the residents, who demand that the entire length of the Siavi canal be completely cleaned and its embankment be built.

Residents say that the blockage of the canal causes flooding in their homes in cases of heavy rains.

A citizen who lives near the Municipality of Vlora has shown in a video the situation in his apartment when it rains.

As can be seen from the video, the water entered the house, while this situation also occurs in the nearby apartments.

Residents declare that they are at risk of being flooded again due to the blockage of the Siavi canal, as meteorologists have predicted rain in the coming days./ CNA
