In critical condition for weeks/ Metropolitan of Laodicea visits Archbishop

His Grace, Metropolitan of Laodicea, Mr. Theodore, representative of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Athens, today visited the "Evangelismos" hospital, where His Beatitude, Archbishop of Albania, Mr. Anastas is hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit.

His Grace, the Metropolitan of Laodicea and the priests who accompanied him, prayed for the health of His Beatitude, Archbishop Anastasios, and spoke with him.

“His Grace, the Metropolitan of Laodicea, met with the Bishop of Kruja, Mr. Anastas, and the priests who accompanied him, in the Church of the Annunciation, in the hospital, where they performed a prayer together for the health of His Beatitude, the Archbishop of Albania. Afterwards, His Grace conveyed to the Bishop of Kruja, Mr. Anastas, the congratulations of the Ecumenical Patriarch, as well as his own personal congratulations.

His Grace, the Bishop of Kruja, informed him of the Archbishop's health condition, which remains stable, with a slight improvement. He further expressed his heartfelt thanks for the interest, prayers and congratulations of the Ecumenical Patriarch, asking him to thank the Ecumenical Patriarch cordially and respectfully for the interest shown," the announcement states.
