Mataj is mentioned in the lawsuit filed by the lawyer Romeo Kara against Meta, as a close person of the head of the PL and of Kastriot Ismailaj, the owner of the "DIA" company.

Romeo Kara also mentions a conversation he had with Elvis Mataj, where the latter claims that Ismailaj sent a bag of money to Meta.
