The head of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Arben Kraja, appeared in the Assembly today, trumpeting that they have fought corruption to the maximum during 2021.

"In 2021, 15 criminal proceedings for clearing the criminal offense were registered. 11 defendants were convicted. Assets were confiscated. Over 70 million euros in confiscated assets.

Cooperation with the state police is a must. In addition to legal obligations, emphasis has been placed on the investigations of the prosecutors themselves. For the fight against corruption, SPAK has been focused especially at high levels. Subjects who exercised high functions have been declared guilty.
