Protests are necessary/ German MEP: People are not happy in this situation

German MEP Adis Ahmetovic, in a press conference, stated that protests are good for democracy.

According to him, it is okay for democracy to have protests, thus appearing alongside the July 7 protest.

"Every European country has big problems because of this new situation in the world. Not only Albania has big inflation problems, with rising food or energy prices, every EU country has these problems, and we in Germany, so I can understand that people are not happy with this situation. It is okay for democracy to have protests. Albania needs more support from the EU, to face big issues, and social issues. Albania decided to be part of the sanctions against Russia without any conditions, so it deserves to receive our support", he said./ CNA.al
