The Democratic Party MP took the floor in the Assembly where he spoke about the first digital bank in the country, "Jet Bank".

Këlliçi stated that the leaders of the Bank of Albania should provide full transparency about "Jet Bank" and answer the questions addressed by him, which is also important for public opinion.

"From the Assembly hall, I am addressing the Governor of the Bank of Albania regarding several questions for which the entire public opinion is seeking answers. Being the first digital bank in the country, the senior executives of the Bank of Albania should come out to provide full transparency about this process and provide answers to the questions addressed. On March 30, I addressed him with a request for information, and I have not yet received a response. Last week, I was made aware of the data regarding the company Jet Bank. Registered on July 23, 2025 at the National Business Center with the shareholder Israeli citizen, Idan Avishai. On November 12, 2025, Idan dismissed Oliver Hemer from the Administrative Council. On December 3, the Bank of Albania issued the decision to approve the license of Jet Bank. On January 26, Idan Avishai sold 100% of the shares to the company Jet Holding, registered in the Netherlands. On February 12, the Bank of Albania quoted that: The Bank of Albania "From the evaluation of Jet Holding's documentation, I was convinced that Jet Bank will exercise its activities in full compliance with the requirements provided for in the applicable legal and regulatory framework ," said Këlliçi. /CNA
