The two Democratic municipal councilors in Durrës, Dritan Burgija and Arlind Boshku, have reacted after their removal from the DP Council.

In a post on social media, Burgija states that his contribution to the DP is not measured by statements but, according to him, is measured by resistance to injustice.

Among other things, he adds that his departure is not a political decision but a sign of panic from the truth. Burgija says that this decision shows the face of those who, according to him, cannot tolerate dissent.

Councilor Arlind Boshku also reacted through a post on social media.

Boshku states that his expulsion from the DP Council did not come only because he requested reflection on the consecutive losses and the establishment of clear rules for meritocracy and promotion within the party.

Among other things, he adds that the party cannot be treated as "a private business nor as a means for the luxury of some individuals." / CNA
