A 36-year-old man ended up in handcuffs in Elbasan. He is accused of embezzling 2,500,000 new alleks from the sales made in the private company where he worked.

The 36-year-old had the job of economist, and was reported by the owner after he had misused his job. 

Police notification:

He embezzled a large amount of money, abusing his position as an economist in a private entity, and the 36-year-old was put in prison.

Following the work to combat criminal activity in the field of economic-financial crimes, the specialists for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Elbasan, after the report received by a citizen, for the theft of a sum of money from an employee of his subject private, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Sales".


As a result of this operation, citizen OA, 36 years old, resident of Elbasan, with the job of economist in a private company active in the field of carpentry, was arrested in the act.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that this citizen, abusing his duty as an economist, has appropriated the amount of 2,500,000 new ALL from the sales.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action./CNA.al
