In 35 years, it has never happened in Albania that opposition ministers congratulate their opposing colleagues on a new assignment. A phenomenon that does not occur with ministers or colleagues within a party congratulating each other when they change seats.

But Besnik Mustafaj, the former Foreign Minister during the government, has shown the opposite by demonstrating his values ??as a diplomat and an intellectual.

Through a post on social media, former Foreign Minister during the DP government, Besnik Musatafj, congratulated Ferit Hoxha on his new position as Foreign Minister, who was appointed by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who dismissed Elisa Spiropali from the post.

"As an early colleague, but also as a minister who I included in my close circle of collaborators, giving the first major impetus to his career, I heartily wish Feri Hoxha success. On this occasion, I express the hope that one of his first acts as minister will be the revocation of the Law on Foreign Service, recently voted in Parliament, as a law that severely affects the integrity of the diplomatic corps of the Republic of Albania", emphasizes Mustafaj.

This is one of the rare cases in Albania where a minister from one party congratulates his opponent on taking office.

We recall that at the meeting of the SP parliamentary group, Prime Minister Edi Rama made drastic changes to the government. As CNA had warned on February 14 through several articles, changes were made to several important ministries.

Rama decided to remove Belinda Balluku from both the positions she held as the government's number two and as Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.

In her place, he appointed Enea Karakaçi as Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, while he appointed Albana Koçi as Deputy Prime Minister.

Koçiu has entrusted the task of Interior Minister to Besfort Lamallari, while the Ministry of Justice has been entrusted to Tonin Gogu.

Besfort Lamallari is appointed Minister of Interior, replacing Albana Koçiu.

Another surprise remains the dismissal of Spiropali as Foreign Minister, a task she entrusted to Feri Hoxha. Spiropali served only a few months as minister, remaining simply as a SP MP.

Ermal Nufi takes over as Minister of Defense, replacing Pirro Vengu. Eriona Ismaili is appointed Minister for Parliamentary Relations, replacing Toni Gogu./ CNA
