Busy Monday/ The Supreme Audit Office and the Prosecutor General report to the

Parliamentary committees will hold a series of meetings today, focusing on reviewing draft laws, annual reports of institutions, and the progress of Albania's membership negotiations with the European Union.

At 09:00, the Secretariat for Procedures, Voting and Ethics will review the request of a group of Socialist Party deputies to take the disciplinary measure "exclusion from participation in committees and plenary sessions" against the respective deputies.

Meanwhile, at 10:30, the Committee on Human Rights and Public Media will review and approve the draft resolutions on Radio Television of Albania (RTSH) and the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination (KMD). Also on the agenda is the presentation of the draft report on the post-legislative control of the law on social assistance, as well as the annual report of the Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA) for 2025.

At 11:00, the Committee on Economy, Employment and Finance will review the draft law "On the electricity sector", the draft law "On electronic information on the transport of goods", as well as the annual report of the Supreme State Audit Office for 2025.

At the same time, the Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration will continue the review, article by article and in its entirety, of the draft law "On granting amnesty", while it will also hold a hearing on the annual report of the Prosecutor General on the state of crime during 2025.

The Committee on Culture, Tourism and Diaspora will first discuss the work calendar for the period June 15 - July 3, 2026, while at 1:00 PM it will hold a hearing on the annual report of the Institute for Studies on the Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania (ISKK) for 2025.

Meanwhile, the Committee on Europe and Foreign Affairs will hold two hearings on the progress of the EU accession negotiations. At 12:00, Chapter 22 “Regional Policy and Coordination of Structural Instruments”, Chapter 5 “Public Procurement” and Chapter 18 “Statistics” will be discussed, with the participation of representatives of the responsible institutions.

Then, at 2:00 PM, the focus will be on Chapter 30 "Foreign Relations" and Chapter 31 "Foreign, Security and Defense Policy", where representatives of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs will report.
