Two fires in Durrës/ Firefighters: We have the situation under control

Two fire foci, one in the height of the hills near Cape Rodon and the other in the forest of the village of Shetaj (Ishëm), have appeared this Sunday.
In the hills of Cape Rodoni, the fire burned a surface of land covered with low vegetation and bushes, while in the village of Shetaj, vegetation and fruit trees.

In the hills of Cape Rodon, near the place where the fire has appeared, there are no houses or business buildings.
The situation is different in the village of Shetaj, where there is a significant number of objects.

Here, fire brigades and residents are keeping the situation under control so far. While due to the geographical position and the separation of the plots with wire nets, the intervention has been difficult.
The fire brigade says that the situation is being brought under control and there is no risk of spreading. Meanwhile, alongside the firemen of Manza, those of Durrës and Shijak also went to the scene. /CNA.al
