Dumani "slaps" the State Police / There is a decrease in reports from the institution

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, presented SPAK's annual work report for 2024.

Regarding the fight against organized crime, Dumani stated that investigations have increased by 18.8% compared to the previous year.

Regarding the fight against corruption, Dumani announced that 33 former senior officials have been placed under investigation for 2024, of which 19 have been sent to court.

There have been final decisions for 10 officials.

Regarding the fight against money laundering, Dumani announced that in 2024 there were 132 investigations initiated by reports and referrals from institutions or citizens. Dumani emphasizes that there has been a decrease in reports from the State Police.

SPAK has registered a high number of new criminal proceedings.

328 new criminal proceedings have been registered, showing an increase of 9.7%. 218 cases have been concluded./ CNA
