Duman speaks openly: Some prosecutors and judges flirt with power

The head of the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime, Altin Dumani, during a meeting at "Luigj Gurakuqi" University in Shkodër, did not hesitate to give clear messages about the investigations of "hot" files. 

As he emphasized that SPAK has no dependence on other powers, he did not rule out the possibility that there are prosecutors and judges flirting with the power of Edi Rama. 

"To be successful in the fight against corruption, we need good legislation and specialized structures and these structures. We have total independence guaranteed by the Constitution. We do not have dependent relationships with other powers. However, everything depends on the integrity of each prosecutor and judge, you can be independent, but you choose to flirt with power", said Dumani./ CNA
