Ulsi Manja, Minister of Justice

Minister of Justice Ulsi Manja has nurtured the hopes of Ervin Salianji, known as "Babalja".

During an interview, Manja commented on the request made by DP, which through an amendment requests that Salianji be appointed.

Manja said that amnesties do not consider proper names, regardless of function or duty.

According to the minister, if the draft law on Amnesty will receive the vote of 84 deputies, approximately 700 convicts who are currently in institutions and about 2 thousand 72 convicts on probation will benefit.

"From this amnesty, if it receives the vote of 84 deputies, approximately 700 convicts who are currently in our institutions and about 2 thousand 72 convicts on probation will benefit. Amnesty does not consider proper names, regardless of what function or duty they hold. We have a clear position, we have excluded from the amnesty all persons convicted or investigated and tried for crimes against justice. This is an attitude and names are not considered here. We have said that whoever has been convicted of a crime against justice does not benefit from amnesty. We have not given this right to men, women, or minors, we have simply included them as a beneficiary category. I don't want to stop at specific names", said Manja./ CNA
