"Musification must be fought"/ Kuçana speaks about the debate

The member of the National Council of the Democratic Party of Albania, Ilirjana Kuçana, spoke to the media regarding the debate that took place during the meeting at the blue headquarters. Kuçana stated that she had filed a resolution that, according to her, should have been read at the meeting.

According to her, the resolution was about the DP and the protest. Kuçana said that people who are not accepted by the square cannot be catapulted into leadership positions in the DP. Among other things, she also spoke about what she called the "Mulizim phenomenon."

"I have filed a resolution, which the chairwoman is obliged to read. The resolution to vote on, whether or not the Council votes on it, remains in their hands. The chairwoman cannot begin her duties by violating the statute. She must read the resolution and she has one vote, as do I; everyone is equal.

There is something essential in this resolution that has to do with the DP and the protest. The DP must read the square. People who do not accept the square cannot be catapulted into positions. I have asked, as a political party, to come out of the Council with a resolution in support of the protest. I have also asked for support regarding the DP. I have asked Mr. Berisha and the Council to approve two important bodies: an intellectual part, to be between the protest and the party, and a forum of students and from the diaspora, to get closer to the square, to be as close as possible to the protest.

The DP, if it does not read the square, cannot be an alternative party. The third point was the Mulizism of the DP. The clan Mulizism of the DP. It is not possible that in the DP, whoever wants a career, must be supported by Muliz, they must pass through the office of Flamur Noka. The moment has come for the DP to return to meritocracy. Mulizism is a phenomenon that must be fought. I invite all members of the Council to fight mulizism and the candidates that are proposed by it. We must vote for people who are detached from the clans.

I have also filed several requests that I have not made public due to ethics. At the moment when my voice is not heard in the forum, I am forced to come out and make it known to the Albanians. At the moment when the DP will not listen to the members of the Council, it is a big problem. The DP must approach the protest", said Kuçana. /CNA
