New RTSH Director/ Council reopens the competition, procedures start from

At today's meeting, the RTSH Steering Council decided by unanimous vote to cancel the procedure opened on January 6 for the election of the General Director of Albanian Radio Television.

The procedure was suspended on January 30, at the request of the Parliamentary Media Committee.

Also at today's meeting, the Council decided to reopen the competition and restart the procedures from the beginning.

"Within this deadline, interested parties will have to submit to Radio Television Albania the required documents according to the legal procedures that can be found on the official website of RTSH and then in a second meeting the Steering Council will review them."

"Another important point of the meeting was the approval of the draft budget of Albanian Radio Television ," said the chairman of the Steering Council, Fatjon Hoxhalli./ CNA
